Delivery Driver/Installer

Job Summary:

The over-the-road Driver/Installer will be on the road Monday through Friday most weeks, including overnight stays. Some weekend work and travel will be required on occasion, dependent on the size of the installation and customer requirements.
The Installation Process involves unloading, moving and installing heavy strength and fitness equipment, according to customers’ layout plans. Testing of all installed equipment to ensure proper function. Clean and wipe down all installed equipment. Clean up of the customer space, including the removal of all trash and packaging materials, sweeping floor areas, and ensuring the area is left in a satisfactory condition.
As a Legend Fitness Driver/Installer, you will work and interact directly with our Customers, and assist the company in building strong customer relationships, and a positive company image. Taking pride in your work, showing customers your professionalism in working with installs, and representing Legend in the best possible way is especially important in delivering a positive experience.

Driver/Delivery/Installer applicant requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid and clean driver’s license (No endorsements or restrictions). CDL preferred but not required.
  • Current and valid Drivers Medical Card.
  • Mechanical aptitude: technical assembly and installation experience with fitness equipment, or similar products is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 75lbs and maneuver heavy equipment.
  • The ability to operate an electric Lift Gate.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to achieve goals independently while still meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to supervise day labor, as required on certain projects.

Remuneration/Benefits:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate. Overtime eligible for driving and on the job hours.

Quality Control Inspector

As Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for performing a series of inspections and functional tests of all Finished Products and In-process assemblies to ensure that they meet all visual and functional quality standards and requirements.  As QC you will be required to monitor in-process controls throughout the manufacturing process, up to and including final assembly.  QC will perform mechanical & functional tests of all finished products to ensure they operate correctly, and meet all established quality standards. QC Inspectors primary responsibility is to ensure customers receive products free from defects in fit, function and finish that meet and exceed the customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform 100% final inspections and functional tests of all Finished Products prior to shipping.
  • Accept of Reject out of spec finished products, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Remove all products or materials from the process that fail to meet specifications.
  • Identify quality issues and have them corrected by the appropriate work center or departments.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure that they meet production quality standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process to correct any out of specification products, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
  • Develop comprehensive inspection checklists for all finished product categories.
  • Record and report all inspection data, reworks, rejections and failures.
  • Complete quality reports, basic data entry and other required documentation.
  • Maintain the highest Housekeeping Standards in all work areas.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to lift and move items, products and finished goods weighing up to 75 pounds (35 kilograms), unassisted, as an essential function of the position.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, product drawings and specifications.
  • Able to correctly and accurately inspect all attributes of all finished products, assemblies and sub-assemblies manufactured by the company.
  • Able to complete functional tests of all finished products.
  • Working knowledge of SPC and the ability to implement and manage statistical process control procedures.
  • Good written communication. Will compile and send reports & information to supervisors and managers.
  • Good verbal communication. Must be able to communicate effectively within all departments and personnel, at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows.
  • Able to work without supervision and also as part of a Team.
  • Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Functional knowledge of strength training and fitness equipment is advantageous, but not essential.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of HS Diploma or GED. 
  • Associates Degree or higher would be beneficial.
  • 3+ years verifiable experience in a volume-manufacturing environment required.
  • 2+ years experience in a QC/QA role is required.
  • Knowledge of SPC systems and procedures.
  • Understanding of ISO9000 QMS is desired but not essential.
  • Industry Certification would be a plus.

Drill Press Operator

Legend Fitness is looking to add a Drill Press Operator to our high production environment. Hours of operation are 7AM to 3:45PM Monday through Friday, with some overtime required as needed (may include Saturdays).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum two years experience reading prints.
  • Must submit to full background check and pass a pre-employment drug screening.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

This is a full-time position and incumbent will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days. This includes multiple health insurance options, dental & vision coverage if elected, and 401K after 12 months of full time employment. Includes paid vacation and paid sick time.

Production Mig Welder

Legend Fitness is looking to add a Production Mig Welder to our high production environment. Hours of operation are 7AM to 3:45PM Monday through Friday, with some overtime required as needed (may include Saturdays).

Sales Representative (Phoenix, AZ)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Legend Fitness Sales Representative, you will be challenged specifically to drive product sales throughout your territory. This will include the full line of Legend Fitness products, as well as all non-Legend products that customers require to provide comprehensive weight room or training facilities, including all cardio products, training and fitness accessories, flooring products and complete turn-key installations. Following product and sales training, you will work under the guidance of the Sales Team Manager (STM) and will have the full support of the corporate team.  You will promote the full line of Legend Fitness products to current and potential customers, coordinate with local Dealers, and work closely with the corporate management team on the ever changing needs of the athletic performance market. You will focus on developing brand reach and sales throughout your extensive territory.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Representative will:

  • Achieve or exceed territory sales forecasts by executing marketing strategies, delivering core branded messages and achieve sales objectives on target customers
  • Successfully develop the sales territory through direct marketing of the Legend brand
  • Effectively develop the needed skills to enhance communication, build and develop key customer relationships, and educate potential customers on the value of Legend Fitness Products
  • Design and develop customer facility layouts, comprehensive and detailed quotations, develop specification documentation as required
  • Work with the NSM to assess territory sales performance and market trends and suggest and implement appropriate actions to enhance performance
  • Develop and manage professional relationships with key customers and organizations
  • Attention to detail within the highly competitive strength equipment industry
  • Honest, positive, respectful, and enthusiastic attitude

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

The Sales Representative will receive monthly base compensation, monthly communication allowance, company laptop computer, uncapped monthly commissions potential, travel expense and mileage reimbursement.  Excellent health benefits, paid vacation.  A newly hired employee will receive two weeks of industry specific training prior to beginning territory responsibilities.

General Labor

Legend Fitness is looking for General Labor to assist in our high production environment. Hours of operation are 7AM to 3:45PM Monday through Friday, with some overtime required as needed (may include Saturdays).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds in a production environment.
  • Previous experience in grinding and sanding a plus.
  • Must submit to full background check and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
